At STASH, we are HUGE fans of a good workhorse yarn. What the heck is a workhorse yarn, you ask? A workhorse yarn is a high quality, durable, woolly wool with an awesome price point. We thought we'd share some of our current  favourites!

It is the 30th year of Pride celebrations in Calgary, and STASH is celebrating with a fiber-rific wall hanging kit that is inspired by the traditional rainbow flag! At STASH we too believe in resiliency, community, & love - and as allies of the LGBTQA2S+ community we want to show our support by donating 100% of the profits from kit sales to the Calgary Queer Arts Society. 

Summer in Calgary is magical, moody, brilliant, intense, and fun! What better way to celebrate the upcoming summer season in Calgary than with a revisit of our unique shawl pattern in gorgeous indie colours?  This shawl is a fun and relaxing knit - it has a simple, memorable pattern and the colour changes are in just the right places to keep your interest. It makes a great palette-cleanser!

Even though we're ready to reopen, we will continue offering curbside pickup well, forever. It's still the safest option, and darn it if it isn't just the most convenient too!

Crafty peeps! We are so excited to announce that STASH now has even more shipping options for your next order! 

Effective immediately, we will be freezing the collection and redemption of STASH loyalty points until our retail shop reopens in a safe and systematic manner. We will not be collecting or tracking points, and will not be retroactively applying points from purchases made online between March 25th, 2020 and the date that we reopen. Your points will be held, unaltered, for you until we can see your lovely faces again.

This cozy cowl is the perfect project to learn how to cast on, knit, slip stitches, and cast off! You will also dabble in basic decreases and increases and get to practice some simple but essential finishing techniques. Knit on straight needles in garter stitch (knitting every stitch, no purls) with super bulky yarn and large needles, the cozy cowl is a satisfying, repetitive project that is manageable for new knitters.

Hello crafty peeps! We know that crafting is often an outlet for peeps to reduce their stress, anxiety, and manage their mental health. We want to keep that outlet available to you as long as it is safe to do so.
