Shipping, Fulfillment, and Return Policies

STASH does our best to ensure that our photos represent the colourway as accurately as possible. Please be aware that there will be a slight difference in colour between different devices. Remember that dye lots can be as rare as unicorns; be sure to snag enough of the colour you need, because next time, the colour could be different! 


STASH online accepts Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, and PayPal. We are unable to accept gift cards or STASH points at this time.

Sales Taxes:

Canadian orders are subject to the appropriate GST/HST per your shipping address. Sales taxes are not applied to US orders.

US customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or fees associated with international purchases.


We currently ship within Canada and the United States.

Shipping costs: (All prices are in Canadian Dollars)

Orders $1 - $99 before taxes: Flat Rate Shipping $15 (Canada/USA), $10 (Alberta)

Orders over $100 CAD* before taxes: FREE 

(psst - that's like $75 USD!) 

*Free shipping offer applies to regularly stocked items. Special orders  (including looms and spinning wheels) are subject to a shipping charge. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. 

Canadian orders are shipped via Canada Post. Shipping time within Canada is typically 2-6 business days, however, this is an estimate provided by Canada Post, and STASH places no guarantees on the timeline of the shipment once it’s left our warehouse.

US orders are sent via USPS, and will also receive a tracking number. Shipping is typically between 2-6 business days. STASH places no guarantees on the timeline of the shipment once it’s left our warehouse.

US customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, or fees associated with international purchases.

Turnaround Time:

Please note that turnaround times are different than shipping times.

Domestic orders placed prior to 2:00pm MST Monday - Friday* will be packaged and shipped on the day the order was placed about 99.9% of the time. (Hey, we’re real people over here. Sometimes life gets in the way!) Orders placed after 2:00pm, or on weekends and holidays, will be shipped the next business day.

US orders will be shipped once per week, on Wednesdays.* We use a super speedy USPS shipping service for our US customers.

Canadian Lettermail Option:

A $5 lettermail option is eligible for smaller purchases such as an enamel pin or a single needle set - this option only applies to Canadian orders under a certain weight. STASH does not guarantee any shipping times for letter mail, nor are we responsible for lost packages sent using lettermail. Please select at your own discretion.  

Local Pick-up Turnaround Time:

Orders placed for local pickup prior to 12:00pm MST Monday - Friday* will be packaged and delivered to the STASH retail shop at the end of the business day about 99.9% of the time. (Hey, we’re real people over here. Sometimes life gets in the way!) Orders placed after 12:00pm, or on weekends and holidays, will be dropped off at STASH the next business day.

Please wait for an email from us letting you know your order is ready for pickup, we wouldn’t want you to show up before it’s ready!

Please note - orders placed online cannot be exchanged for merchandise at the STASH retail shop.

Please take a moment to look over our temporary COVID-19 return policies: 


  • For any purchases that are reaching their one-year return cutoff date, STASH will be extending lapsing return deadlines to August 31st, 2020.

  • All current purchases will still have our usual one-year return policy from purchase date (with receipt, with tags on, still in sell-able condition).

  • We do ask that receipts be presented at the time of return and will be subject to inspection.

  • Due to the extremely unusual circumstances of the covid-19 pandemic, we are NOT accepting returns on products until our retail store is operational again. Please keep your return items in a plastic bag with the receipt to ensure that it stays in sellable condition, and we will honour your returns when we are better equipped to do so. Please do not send returns back to the online warehouse. 

  • Safety is our top priority. We are operating with limited staff and resources so that our team can practice social distancing and be with their families. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we navigate this uncharted, crafty territory.

    Regular Return Policy:

    Is there something wrong with your order? Please get in touch ASAP so we can help you out!

    STASH accepts returns (excluding shipping) within one year of purchase. Items must be unopened, unwound, and in new condition. STASH reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds on products that do not meet these requirements.

    Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. STASH is not responsible for lost returns. Customers local to Calgary can drop off returns in person at our retail shop. 

    We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

    If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. 

    By purchasing from STASH online, you agree to these terms and conditions.

    Late or missing refunds (if applicable): 

    Refunds can take approximately 5-7 business days to process. If you are waiting for a refund and have not yet received it, first check your bank account/credit card/paypal account again.

    The next step is to contact the credit card/paypal/bank that your payment was processed through - they may have a delay before it is posted.

    Class Policies:

    You must be 16 years or older to take a class at STASH.

    If you cannot make your class, you must give STASH at least 48 hours notice in order to reschedule or receive a refund for the booking. We are unable to offer make up classes for subsequent missed classes. If you cannot make your class, please call us at 403-457-0766.
