Class Policies
CLASS REQUIREMENTS
Peeps must be 16 years of age or older to take a class at STASH.
When registering for your class, you'll be asked to complete a questionnaire that helps us determine you have the skills to succeed in class. If you do not feel confident about the skills a class requires, please email us at questions@stashlounge.com and we can recommend a class to help you build your crafting confidence!
In the event it is determined that you do not have the appropriate skill set for the class, STASH reserves the right to unenroll and issue you a 50% refund. Our classes are in high demand, so we need to ensure that you have the prerequisites for you and the instructor to be set up for success.
CAN'T MAKE YOUR CLASS?
If you cannot make your class, you must give STASH at least 1 week (7 days) notice in order to receive a refund for the booking.
We would be happy to offer a one-time reschedule for you to a new date and time if the schedule allows. If you can no longer make your rescheduled class, we will issue a refund (7 days prior) or a store credit (6 days to 72 hours prior) for you to re-register at your convenience.
Cancellations between 6 days - 72 hours prior to the scheduled class or event are eligible for a move to a future date, or receive a store credit.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the class or event are not eligible for a refund or credit.
CLASSES CANCELLED BY STASH
If STASH is not able to run a class or event due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances (illness, or acts of nature), we will contact you as soon as possible about the situation and offer the following options:
- Move to a future date
- Issue store credit
- Issue a full refund
LATE/MISSED CLASS?
The first 10 minutes of our classes are super, duper important! For this reason, we encourage you to arrive 15 minutes early to take care of parking and so that the class can start on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will not be able to join the class.
The first class is also super important - you must attend part 1 of your class in order to attend any subsequent parts. STASH is unable to offer make-up classes for missed sessions.
ACCESSIBILITY
Our classrooms are on the lower level of the building, but can be accessed via elevator. Please let us know ahead of time if there are any accommodations you require - we want to make sure you feel safe and comfortable during your class! Service dogs and other aids are welcome in class.
Our classrooms are a scent-free environment; please avoid perfume and cologne. Please eat before class - we want to make sure our classrooms remain allergen-free, so there is no food allowed in class! You're welcome to bring water bottles and travel mugs with lids.
Conduct
All guests at STASH are expected to treat staff and instructors with respect. Any verbal abuse will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave and unenrolled from the class without a refund.
STASH is committed to maintaining a safe space for all our customers, staff and instructors. In our spaces and in the making community in general, we have no tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, or ideologies that are against our belief that all human beings deserve equal rights.
