What the heck is a bark? What the heck is a burp?! Brioche is wack but we've got your back! Learn the basics of two colour brioche in this two part class. You'll make the First Brioche Hat by our friends at Brooklyn Tweed  and unravel the mysteries of this super squishy stitch! You'll walk away with all the skills needed to knit two colour brioche in the round. 

This pattern is being used with consent from the designer. All students will receive a purchased copy for their own personal use.

Skills Required:

Peeps must be confident knitters, with loads of awesome projects under their belts. Peeps should be able to confidently do all sorts of increases and decreases, and confidently be able to read their knitting and fix mistakes like dropped stitches without hesitation. Peeps must be comfortable knitting in the round and on double pointed needles.  Not quite there yet? Try our Classic Socks or Sweater 101 class to help build up those skills! 

Please Bring: 

  • 6mm (US 10) 16" circular needles 
  • 6mm (US 10) double pointed needles (8" recommended) 

We'll Provide: 

  • A copy of the First Brioche Hat pattern
  • 2 skeins of Estelle Outback Chunky yarn in contrasting colours (you pick your colours!) 

Class Cancellation Policy:

If you cannot make your class, you must give STASH at least 1 week (7 days) notice in order to receive a refund for the booking. We are also happy to reschedule you to a new date and time if the schedule allows.

Cancellations between 6 days - 72 hours prior to the scheduled class, club, or event are eligible for a move to a future date, or receive a store credit. 

Cancellations made within 72 hours of the class, club, or event are not eligible for a refund or credit.

The first 10 minutes of class are super, duper important! For this reason, we ask that you arrive on time (aim for about 5 minutes early.) If you are more than 10 minute late, you will not be able to join the class. 

If you are sick and unable to attend, STASH will work with you to reschedule your participation. Please do not come to class sick.
