Knit in Public Day 2024!

It's that time again - World Wide Knit in Public Day is Saturday, June 8, and you're invited to come craft with us! 

Where: Stanley Park, at 4011 1a St SE at Site 1

When: Saturday, June 8 from 10am to 2pm, rain or shine

Cost: FREE! 

Bring: Your craft of choice, a blanket or camp chair, snacks and water. 

Join Veronica (owner of STASH) and Ashley (STASHy peep extraordinaire) for a fun day of crafting, games, prizes, and more. Whether you knit, crochet, spin, weave, stitch, or something else entirely, we want to craft with you. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to join. Come with a buddy or come alone, we'll all be bffs by the end of it. 

This free event will include:

  • Yarnbombing 101 demonstration
  • Crafting Olympics, with prizes!
  • Yarn winding station
  • A crafty kids activity area
  • More events will be firmed up closer to the date

This event is family friendly (there's even a playground nearby!) but kiddos must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Pets are also welcome if they they are cool with being around groups of people.

We're putting together some sweeeeeeeet prize packs to give away too, so make sure you've RSVP'd to be entered to win.
