knitbrooks Rambouillet x Finn Roving | 100g
Discover the beauty of this soft and lofty Canadian Rambouillet x Fin blend (mostly 100% Canadian Rambouillet, however this batch of wool has some Rambouillet / Finn crosses in the flock). All roving bumps are made with fibre from Nova Scotian sheep.

FIBRE
Rambouillet (also known as the French Merino) has similar characteristics to typical merino fibre, however it has more of a matte look. The fibre offers great elasticity, can be worn comfortably against your skin, and has been described as having an almost cotton-like feel with its lofty airiness.
Finn wool has less crimp than Rambouillet, and adds some luster, however the amount of Finn in this batch of wool may be too small to notice a significant difference from our 100% Rambouillet.
PROCESS
All Annapolis Fibre Co yarn begins as raw fleece from the sheep of Linc Farm, which is carded, spun and dyed by us right here in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley. Aside from owning and shearing the sheep and goats ourselves, we are creating each skein and roving bump from start to finish.
CARE
All items made with untreated (non-superwash) wool should be hand washed in cold water, and laid flat to dry. Spot cleaning will help prolong the life of your knitwear!
