2025 Knit in Public Day!

World Wide Knit in Public Day is BACK! Join us at Bowness Park for some company and crafting! 

When: Saturday, June 14, 2025. 10am to 2pm

Rain or shine - we have a picnic shelter this year!

Where: Bowness Park (8900 48th Ave NW) East Picnic Site 3

What: Bring your knitting, crocheting, or any portable craft and come craft with us! 

There'll be yarn winders available for use, crafting olympic events and door prizes.  Friendly dogs on leash are welcome (there are usually around 100 peeps at this event, so make sure they're okay with crowds!) All ages are welcome. 

Pro Tips: Bring a camp chair, a water bottle, and snacks! This is a busy park, so consider carpooling with a friend, riding your bike, or hopping on the bus.
