Sweater 101 - February, 2020
Supplies Not Included*
4 Part KAL
Skill Level: Brave Maker
If you are a newer knitter looking to knit your first sweater evah then Sweater 101 is the perfect solution for you! This fun, four-part class will guide you through the mysteries of gauge swatching, top-down sweater construction, picking up stitches, and finishing techniques. In this learning environment, participants must be comfortable with casting on, knitting, purling, basic ribbing, knitting in the round, knitting on double pointed needles OR using magic loop, and casting off. We strongly recommend that you purchase your yarn a few weeks before your class so you get the colour that you want! We can then special order any colours that we do not have enough of, and they will arrive in time for your class!
Pattern: Grip by Veera Valamaki (included)
Yarn: You're required to BYOY (bring your own yarn) for this guided KAL. We recommend Estelle Chunky or Estelle Alpaca Merino Chunky, but we are also happy to help you find another suitable yarn. Pop into the store and let us help you out!
Needles: Bring your favourite needles to obtain the gauge.
