In this intermediate-level learning environment peeps MUST be comfortable with knitting in the round and with knitting in the fair isle or stranded technique. Our KAL whips through 4 weeks to give you the momentum to work through your project, complete with a weekly meet-up, social media cheerleading, and in-house tech support.
To participate, register and then select one of the following shawl patterns and purchase it before the first knit along date:
Sunset Highway – a modern classic, this pattern uses Olann Singles Sock, Tosh Merino Light, Hedgehog Fibres Sock, Woolenboon Classic, or any lovely hand dyed fingering weight yarns.
Sipila – a charming, lightweight sweater that is knit a bit loosely with any hand-dyed, fingering weight yarn such as Olan Donegal Tweed Sock, Mad Tosh Sock on 3.5mm needles for a breezy effect.
Ninilchik Swoncho – warm yet roomy, this light worsted weight poncho-y sweater would be fantastic in Brooklyn Tweed Shelter, Mad Tosh DK, Malabrigo Rios, or any other light worsted yarn.
Guthrie – A fun, intermediate colourwork sweater knit in DK, it would be fun to do in Brooklyn Tweed Arbor, Ancient Arts DK, or other yarns that nail the gauge.
Tecumseh – A clever and sweet colourwork sweater that would be adorable in solids such as Quince & Co Owl or Lark, Yoth Big Sister, Or Brooklyn Tweed Arbor.
