STASH’s Summer Class schedule has been put together to fit your schedule, featuring single session projects and flexible dates from which to choose – and we are especially proud of our first ever Cherry Pickin‘ Intro to Knittin’ classes, where you get to cherry pick the dates that work for you.

Cherry Pickin’ Intro to Knittin’
$60 plus tax, includes all supplies
This summer season class will teach you how to cast on, knit, purl, use stitch markers, create button holes, cast off and finish your work in two classes. In the class we make an coffee cozy or electronic cozy with buttons and, as usual at STASH, all supplies are included. The best part is that YOU get to cherry pick the dates for each class from our class offering!
How it works:- Peruse our date list below and select your preferred dates for Part 1 and Part 2 of the class. Ideally they should be at least one week apart, in proper order, and no more than 1 month apart.
- Register online for each part, or call us at 403 457 0766 with your preferred dates. We have a maximum of 8 peeps per class so a class date may fill up!

Stranded Double Point Madness
$60 plus tax, includes all supplies
This is a crash course on knitting with two colours AND knitting on double pointed needles. You heard us, it’s madness here at STASH and we want you to get the basics of these techniques while whipping up a wristband that is as stylin’ as you are. Skulls? No prob. Hearts? Well ain’t you sweet?
Note: This class is also a recommended prerequisite for our Socktacular Saturdays, Smitten with Mittens, Chunky Sweater Knit Along, and our Wee Knits classes.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner (please see class description on the classes page to access our rating system) We supply: wee skeins of soft n’ squishy yarns, 1 set of double pointed needles.

Wee knit Cupcakes
$60 plus tax, includes all supplies
What is cuter than a cupcake? A teeny, tiny knitted cupcake, with sprinkles on top! Our Wee Knits class introduces you to the world of small knitting, and will get you comfortable with using tiny double point needles, pattern reading for teensy things, and if you don’t find the whimsical world of wee knits cute, then you have a heart of stone. After this class you will want to knit a wee monkey or micro monster and that is awesome. Please bring your spectacles and your patience, cause it’s gonna get real small.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner, must know how to use double point needles, may we recommend our Stranded Double Point Needle class?

This monster of a granny square lap blanket is a chunky crochet project that would blow your grandmas mind. Because it gobbles up 4 skeins of Ella Rae Mega we are offering this class for the price of supplies only! Possibly the easiest and most satisfying crochet lap blanket ever, we invite you to join us on a chunky crochet rampage. Rawr!
Skill Level: Beginner (please practice chaining and the double crochet before class)

String Typography
$60 plus tax, includes all supplies
Wood and hammers and string, oh my! We will explore three types of string typography, give demos and tips for success, and then we let you loose with a hammer to design your own piece. A great class to take with friend or on your own, and one you make one string lettering piece you will not want to stop swingin’ that hammer.
Skill Level: Zero - Opposable thumbs to hold hammers may be an asset.
